Wow - interesting that the high IQ meant he was not eligible for autistic special services at his school! I'm sorry to hear this. Hopefully the schools in Germany are more sensitive to any special needs he has, regardless of what category they fall under. Years from now, we will be scratching our heads at how archaic the definition of autism was.
