Have you ever posted something online and later wished you hadn’t?
That describes most of what I’ve shared on Medium over the years.

Earlier in my blogging journey, writing felt like therapy. I believed that being “authentic” meant being completely unfiltered. That mindset led me to post deeply personal stories online — stories that, in hindsight, may have been better kept private.

When Vulnerability Feels Cringe

Many of my earlier posts now feel a little… cringeworthy.

I have a therapist now — a safe space where I can process my past without broadcasting it to the internet. And I’m no longer trying to build a platform as a dating coach, which was one of the reasons I wrote so candidly in the past.
