This! I used to be a dating coach, and had someone block me yesterday because I hadn't responded to her update of her dating situation within 3 hours. It was so crazy, we have no contract to work together and no money has ever been exchanged! (People like her are why I dropped the business idea — too many people expecting free help but not willing to pay a dime).

I don't think, in this case, that it was what you said above about her not wanting to have anything to do with me going forward. I think she was just hurt and trying to take her power back, after feeling overly vulnerable and not listened to. I can empathize, but whatever.

I wonder how often that happens in life? We block rather than having a deeper convo about how our needs are not being met.
