I know St. Martin's Press was good for new authors back about 20 years ago, but I don't know anything about the current publishing industry any more, sadly.

Your writing is very readable, and it does seem to fit into the 'career chronicles' and 'triumphing over hardship' sort of genres? Typecasting seems to be important, as publishing houses are all about who they would market the book to, and if it's a profitable niche...It's great that you have it all, or mostly, written out.
