I don't get why more people aren't hearing about the neuroplasticity model of brain function and actively working to improve their brains.
I had a gifted brain but serious memory issues when I was younger. So I actively work to improve my short term memory. It tends to be lower than average, but who cares? I've been able to improve it using a few simple brain games.
Could we possibly go over the 2% of brain matter that we supposedly actually use? I believe we can, and there are so many tools/apps out there now to exercise these muscles. Thanks, great article!
