Are these situations addressed in the books? I wasn’t sure how much of the poc representation was based on the book vs creative licensing by Rimes. I did notice that the main 2 characters look very similar to the book cover of one of Julia Quinn’s books in the series. There are quite a few anachronistic situations like public intimacy and teenage smoking. I had read that the author was trying to make historical stories more interesting through the use of this literary device. Interesting article, thank you!
